Sunnyside Shines Holiday Lighting Ceremony

Each year Sunnyside Shines brings festive holiday lights to Queens Boulevard and Greenpoint Avenue. This year's holiday lighting ceremony will be on Greenpoint Avenue Between 47th and 48th Streets. (In front of Men's Boulevard Mens Shop)

Taste of Sunnyside 2011

Over 600 guests who paid $25 apiece crowded into the Sunnyside Community
Services Ballroom Tuesday night to sample a wide assortment of food and
drink from 24 tables at ³Taste of Sunnyside 2² the second annual restaurant
festival. Some innovations instituted this year were popular, such as
unlimited bottled water and soda, beer and wine for sale at $3 in addition
to the free beer and wine samples, explicit signage and structure, two
individual tastings lasting one and a half hours each, and free

Sunnyside Shines is launching an ambitious project to help increase business and traffic
to the great community of sunnyside and its incredible businesses. We are starting a
project that revolves around a shopping spree. You can have a chance to win an $1150 shopping spree!

How does it work? well it's simple really:

You spend a minimum of $10 at a store. Once you do, the merchant will mark you card with a sticker.
